The course is structured over three years, where you’ll need to commit to 160 hours of intensive study each and every year. This study time is divided into four one week blocks of residential study at Oxford Brookes University, where you’ll then return to your company and carry out an assignment-based valuation of how you can incorporate your newly acquired theory into practical, everyday solutions.
The programme is designed to upskill you in areas that will help you get the most out of your career with Kier. These include construction-specific skills; communication, problem-solving and team working and generic skills such as reasoning, professionalism and work process management.
Even better, if you’ve enjoyed your studies and complete the course with flying colours, we’ll encourage you to go on to complete an honours degree in either construction site management or commercial and quantity surveying.
