A HELPING HAND
Life is tough enough as it is when you’re a student (don’t worry, we realise you won’t be burning the midnight oil all the time), without having the added pressure of coming out of university with mountains of debt. This is why we’ve created the sponsorship programme, to give the very best undergraduates the opportunity to get ahead of the game by offering invaluable work experience, as well as financial and professional support throughout their degree.
What we want from you is quite simple really. We want team players who have commitment, enthusiasm and who are flexible. We want people who are proactive and who will seek out opportunities (you could be anywhere in the UK), all qualities we demand from our permanent employees.
And that’s because when you join us during your summer and industrial placements you’ll be working on major projects with real responsibilities. Everything you’re learning in university will really take shape as you gain invaluable on-site experience, as well as building valuable contacts and project knowledge to support you in your studies.
To help with your time at University you’ll get a yearly bursary paid in two instalments (normally February and October), a weekly salary when on placement, and if you’ve really shown outstanding aptitude, you may well earn a place on our graduate development programme.
The onus to sponsorship is on you. The right attitude will go a long way to succeeding, but you’ll also need acceptance onto (or currently on) an accredited related degree; a full UK driving licence; the right to live and work within the UK (or able to get the right visa/permit) and preferably your own transport.
